Shop Riot Comp

We made the trip over to Leeds for the shop riot comp on Sunday. Our team was Richie, Ben, Lloyd and Tom. Despite massive pressure from being up against some of the best UK skaters all of the guys skated well. Props to Richie who managed to calm his nerves enough to skate - shame he puked once we left the park!

Manchester Go Skateboarding Day Footage

If you missed it, International go skateboarding day was on 21st June. Projekts Skateshop organised a little Manchester street comp and our friend Danny McCourt made a video of the event. Max Pouncey won the game of skate at the park and various people took home some prizes for street.

Redbull Manny Mania London Finals

Lloyd and Ben went down to London for the finals of the 2010 Redbull Manny Mania competition. They both smashed it and Ben got 6th and Lloyd 7th with Jack Edwards taking the win. Check out the footage below. Epic!

Redbull Mannymania went off at the Skatepark on Saturday and Projekts Skateshop team rider Lloyd Mcleggon Watkinson qualified for the London finals alongside Ben Rowles who is also got through, for the 2nd year running. Good work boys... Projekts represent!

Weekend In The City 4

Back Again For its 4th Year is the Projekts skate shops Weekend in the city Skateboard video Competition.

This Year Teams of up to 5 Skaters (including filmer) must film a 5min edit over the May bank holiday weekend starting sat 1st till mon 3rd. All footage must be filmed within Greater Manchester.
All edits must be in avi or wmv file formats and handed into Projekts skate shop by 5:30pm Thursday 6th May. We will then show the edits at Projekts Skatepark on saturday 8th May 9pm which will be free and open to all.

To enter your team you must come down to Projekts Skate shop and sign up or call us on 0161 832 3423.

Skatelab in LA have had a refurb and they got the Deluxe team to come out and session the park for the opening. If you like Real Skateboards and Deluxe team riders then you'll love this... WOTR 2010

We made the trip over to Blackpool yesterday for the Lancashire part of War of the Roses 2010. Kendrick and Lewis both managed to get some cash for their efforts with Mark landing a hefty varial heels down the big 7 stair and Threaders styling a back tail down the handrail. Lloyd got tech on the big hip doing some massive Nollie Heelflips and Nollie inwards.
There were plenty other Manchester lurkers there along with some sick bowl shredders - Stu Graham is a beast!
Dave and Ben both also went over to the Leeds event on Saturday to represent Projekts. Good work boys.
